Santuario delle Ancelle del Sacro Cuore – “The body of Volpicelli is kept in the side chapel on the right. For years, it was enshrined in a bronze sculpture. Following her beatification in 2001 , her remains were moved to a gold-colored wooden urn topped with the symbol of the Sacred Heart. In 2019 , on the 10th anniversary of her canonization, her body was placed in a wooden and crystal glass coffin, covered in the saint’s clothes and with her hands and face covered in wax.”
