Today’s Gospel readings tells the story of the Dives and Lazarus (Luke 16.19-31). James Tissot visualized two scenes from the parable – The Poor Lazarus at the Rich Man’s Door and The Bad Rich Man in Hell. There are also several narrative series from the High Middle Ages (see below).
