22 November – Venerable Cäcilia im Möslin

Frauenfeld, Kantonsbibliothek Thurgau / Y 111

“Venerable Cecilia (Caecilia, Cäcilia) was born sometime in the mid-1400s in Switzerland. She was a virgin and recluse in Möslin Unterwalden in the later times of St. Nicholas of Flüe (1417-1487). Her cell was not far from those of Bruder Klaus and Bruder Ulrich. She died in 1561 and is buried in the Church of Kerns with Ulrich. Her feast day is 22 November, the same day as St. Cecilia of Rome. Venerable Cecilia, Pray for us and our poor country Switzerland!” (source)
