FERIA SECUNDA

Pater, clarifica nomen tuum.
Father, glorify thy name. A voice therefore came from heaven: I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.
John 12.28
FIAT UOX DE CELO QUOD TEMET CLARIFICABO. CLAROS NOS REDDIT DOMINUS QUOS GRATIA CEPTRAT

DEDIT ILLI CLARITATEM ETERNAM
And in bands she left him not, till she brought him the sceptre of the kingdom, and power against those that oppressed him: and shewed them to be liars that had accused him, and gave him everlasting glory.
Wisdom 10.14

MAGNIFICABOR ET SANCTIFICABOR NOTUS ERO
Et magnificabor, et sanctificabor, et notus ero in oculis multarum gentium : et scient quia ego Dominus.
And I will be magnified, and I will be sanctified: and I will be known in the eyes of many nations: and they shall know that I am the Lord.
Ezechiel 38.23

NOMEN MEUM HONORIFICABILE IN GENTIBUS
For from the rising of the sun even to the going down, my name is great among the Gentiles, and in every place there is sacrifice, and there is offered to my name a clean oblation: for my name is great among the Gentiles, saith the Lord of hosts.
Malachias 1.11

GRATIFICABOR IN DILECTO FILIO SUO
in laudem gloriae gratiae suae, in qua gratificavit nos in dilecto Filio suo.
Unto the praise of the glory of his grace, in which he hath graced us in his beloved son.
Ephesians 1.6

Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain: for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that shall take the name of the Lord his God in vain.
Exodus 20.7
